Home Inspections Built on Evidence,
Delivered with Clarity

At Hepburn Home Inspections,
Detail Is the Foundation of Confidence.

Every inspection is designed to give you the confidence to move forward. If unexpected issues arise, clear evidence and proper context support negotiating repairs or price adjustments.

If only minor defects are found, you can move ahead knowing your new home is exactly what you hoped for.

Communication

Technical skill and knowledge are essential but they’re only part of the job. During the inspection and our review, I walk you through my findings, answer your questions, and explain which issues matter most so you can move forward fully informed and confident.

My reports are photo-rich and clearly written, providing you with a thoroughly documented, easy-to-understand resource. Each finding is supported with images and concise explanations that clearly illustrate what was discovered and why it matters.

What is inspected?

From foundation to chimney, I will inspect all the systems that make up your new home.

A home is made up of multiple interconnected systems. For example, the roof is not just shingles, it includes the roof covering, underlayment, flashing, framing, and other essential components working together as a system.

Each major system is further divided into functional categories and subcategories to ensure a detailed evaluation of every area of the home. I methodically assess each component, carefully observing its condition, identifying deficiencies, and noting its overall state of repair and maintenance.
